Guy M. Nishizawa, O.D.

Dr. Guy Nishizawa is an alumnus of Castle High School and completed his undergraduate work at Pacific University. He graduated from Pacific’s College of Optometry with his degree in 1978. Dr. Nishizawa is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Hawaii Optometric Association (HOA). He is certified to treat diseases of the eye and co-manage refractive (LASIK) surgery; he also serves as a panel doctor with the Laser Eye Center of Hawaii. He is a past President of the Hawaii Optometric Association, served on the Hawaii State Board of Examiners in Optometry, and has also participated as a Clinical Examiner for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. In 1991, Dr. Nishizawa was named Optometrist of the Year by the HOA. He is also a past President of the Rotary Club of Kaneohe and continues to actively participate and contribute to the Rotary Club. In his spare time, Dr. Nishizawa enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his children’s sports teams and playing golf.
